Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓Removing the battery door makes it easier to clean up after a battery leak or unscrew the bottom panel. It is also necessary for the installation of certain accessories.

On the bottom of the camera, pull the release tab towards the center of the camera, then pull up.
Ask FixBot

Grip and hold the front end of the battery door at a 45-degree angle from the case.

Pop the battery door out by pulling the front tab up.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

My problem is the door on my Nikon D850 broke, leaving the small part with the two prongs in place, and I don’t know how to get them out to install a replacement door. Would appreciate suggestions tootswaller22@gmail.com
