Introduction

Use this guide to replace the front cover.

What you need

Step 1 Back Cover

Remove the four 3.0mm screws on the bottom of the camera.

Remove the two 3.0mm screws on the left side of the camera near the memory card compartment.

Remove the two 3.0mm screws on the right side of the camera.

Carefully open the back cover. Take care as there are connectors still attached.

Disconnect the cable by pulling the head upward along the green circuit board. If you only are changing the LCD, skip this step.

Disconnect the ribbon cable by grabbing the two handles and pulling it directly out of the socket. If you are only changing LCD, skip this step.
The back cover will be disconnected from the camera

Be careful of metallic parts which are loose and will fall out.
Remove the two 2.5mm screws on the bottom of the left side, after having removed the back cover.

Remove the two 3.0mm screws on the right side of the camera.

Remove front cover.
