Newport HT70 Battery Replacement

Introduction

If you are experiencing an issue where the battery of HT70 ventilator dies sooner than expected, or the battery is resorting to back-up power after fully charged, you need to change the battery using this guide.

For more information on replacing the battery, please refer to page 5-11 in the service manual.

What you need

  1. Newport HT70 Battery Replacement, Eject Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Press on PUSH button

    • Slide the removable battery pack out of the machine (direction as shown)

    • Removable battery can be changed while ventilating the patient since there is an internal battery inside the machine. However, the battery percentage will drop down faster if the removable battery is not attached.

    • Get a fresh battery.

    • Pop the fresh battery back into the machine (direction as shown).
