Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓In 1969, Reyn Guyer created a polyurethane foam ball that he brought to the toymaker "Parker Brothers". By the end of 1970, Parker Brothers had sold over 4 million of these foam balls and would soon create its own entity and become the company we know today as "Nerf". The brand "Nerf" currently owned by Hasbro now estimates annual incomes of over 400 million dollars each year. Nerf solely manufactures products using foam, plastic, and rubber and make anything ranging from super soakers to video games. In this guide, you will learn how to replace the catch spring for the "Nerf Lawbringer 2169" so that the gun can properly operate again.

Locate and remove all 14 screws of the outer case and gently remove it avoiding any damage.

Remove the exterior spring from the sliding mechanism and re-position the gun on its opposite side.

Remove the three screws holding the trigger plate in place, then remove the plate carefully.

Carefully slide out the big spring and fit in your replacement (thin-coil end coiled around the orange plastic)

Keep tension on the spring and begin sliding the new coil spring into the trigger mechanism.

Reconnect the spring to the orange slider, and connect the orange slider to the grey hook.

Slide the orange supporting piece into the crevice below the air chamber.

Slide the rotating cartridge back into place

Carefully reassemble the Nerf Law bringer in the same order you took it apart. Carefully reattach the 3 screws that seal the air chamber.

Reattach the other plastic half of the gun. Tighten the screws and you're done.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
