Without proper battery charge the radio will not function correctly, either transmitting weak signal or no signal at all. Follow the steps below to properly replace the radio batteries.

Remove the back battery cover by pressing the tab to the left, and lifting.

Remove the batteries currently in the radio.

The orientation of the batteries is specified in the battery compartment.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
