Introduction

This is a guide on how to get off the back panel of Motorola Moto G Power (2020). This guide is prerequisite for all of repairs regarding this device. This step should be very easy. Just be careful with the fingerprint sensor!

Before you begin, download the Rescue and Smart Assistant app to backup your device and diagnose whether your problem is software or hardware related.

Step 1 Back Case

Position a suction cup securely on the back panel of the device.
Insert the opening pick into both sides of the phone and carefully slide it along to open the back panel of the device.
Do not fully remove the back panel; disconnect the fingerprint sensor first.

Apply gentle pressure to the fingerprint sensor with your finger to detach it from the back panel.
You may need to apply firm pressure to remove the circular sensor from the panel.
