Introduction

The HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filter is a filter inside the microscreen filter in the dust seal of the vacuum that separates the dust particles from the dirt and grime. This filter needs to be replaced when it gets too dirty or damaged. Moosoo XL-618A troubleshooting recommends a replacement every two months. The first HEPA filter replacement comes with your initial purchase of the vacuum. After using this replacement, any subsequent filter replacements will need to be bought separately as needed. Here is a guide to replace the filter.

1. Step 1 Microscreen Filter
  Press the blue button on the exterior of the device to open the hatch.
  
  If the seal contains debris or trash, be sure to hold it over a garbage can.

3. Step 2
  Remove the microscreen filter by twisting it to the left and pulling it out.
  
  Don't be alarmed if both filters come out together; the HEPA filter comes out very easily.

1. Step 3 HEPA Filter
  Pull the orange HEPA filter out.
  
  When you reassemble the device, make sure the black ring on the filter is facing you.
  
  The device comes with a replacement filter. However, you can buy more as needed.
