Gently press the tab, and pull the door up and away from the body of the mouse

Using your fingernail, pull up on the top of the battery and take it out of the slot.

Slide the battery into the slot, and push down on it firmly. It will click into place.

Slide the rear door back into place, and push down on it. It will click into place.
