Mavic 2 Camera/Gimbal Unit Replacement

Introduction

This guide describes how to replace the camera and or gimbal for the Mavic 2 drone.

What you need

  1. Mavic 2 Camera/Gimbal Unit Replacement, Camera/Gimbal Unit: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the two 2x5 mm screws from the plastic piece near the camera on bottom side using the Allen key.

    • Remove plastic part from previous step.

    • Remove ribbon cable connecting to camera by pulling at camera connection point.

    • Unscrew 1.5 x 4.5 mm gimbal mount screw using Allen key.

    • Use Allen key to remove screws holding nose plate, in the front left and right corners in front of the camera.

    • Pull camera and gimbal from drone.

    • Remove four rubber parts from camera mount.

    • Remove camera from frame by pulling apart.
