Introduction

The main button on top of the Marshall Emberton speaker is used to navigate between tracks and also the volume. This guide provides detailed instructions on how to replace the main button on the Emberton Bluetooth speaker.

With constant pressure on the button, it may eventually wear out and stop working. Replacing the button is very simple and only requires a TR-9 screwdriver.

What you need

Remove the rubber casing from the speaker by peeling it off using your nails.

Use a TR9 screwdriver to remove the eight 1 cm screws located on top of the speaker.

Once all the screws are off, you must pry the plastic piece off using any tool capable of sliding into the crevice. Then easily pop the piece out.

On the back side of the plastic piece, there is a circuit which is shown in the picture. Use a TR9 screwdriver to remove two 1.2 cm screws to detach the circuit from the plastic housing.
