1. Step 1 Remove Side Panel
  Lift up the latch
  
  Remove the Side panel
  
  The hard drives and optical drives are locked in place when the latch is down!

3. Step 2 The remove the optical drive carrier
  Pull out halfway
  
  Disconnect the cable(s)

After adding the drive, the computer does not recognize it. If I swap the cables, the other drive is recognized. Is there a software configuration that I need to make?
