Introduction
In this guide you will replace the power button control board in a Logitech UE Boom 3 speaker. The model number is S-00171. Alternative model numbers could be S-00171-A, S-00171-B, and S-00171-C. This board is connected to the power button and is what makes the button turn the speaker on and off. If your power button is not working properly, you may need to replace the control board.

Insert a Jimmy into the space between the body and the lid.

Wiggle the Jimmy to loosen the lid. Continue around the lid until lid comes off.

Remove the four screws from the power button control board using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Remove the power button control board from the lid.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
