Refer to the featured document for specific part names and exploded view. Determine whether you have the right-handed or left-handed reel.

Slide switch to 'open' on left side of reel to remove left cover.

Remove the palm-side cover, then spool assembly from center frame of reel.

Unscrew star-drag until it is loose, remove it and the handle washer from the shaft.

Pry 2 drag spring washers, and 1 click holder washer off to finish removing side cover.

At this point, you have disassembled the reel enough to where you can clean parts, remove dust and debris , or replace individual parts

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
