Introduction

This guide covers how to safely and effectively replace an SSD card in the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 2.

What you need

1. Step 1 Back Cover
  Unscrew the seven 8 mm captive screws from the back of your device with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

  Use the Jimmy tool to pry off the back of the device.

1. Step 3 SSD
  Remove the single Phillips screw that secures the SSD.

2. Step 4
  Gently pull the SSD straight out of its socket.
  
  Ensure when installing the new SSD card that the orientation of the card is the same as when it was removed.
