This guide will teach you how to remove the battery from the phone. This will require you to use the plastic opening tool to loosen the back cover of the phone, remove the back cover with your hands, and then remove the battery with the plastic opening tool.

Wedge the plastic opening tool into the seam between the plastic backing and the rest of the phone.
