Introduction

This guide details the process of removing the keyboard from an LG Rumor Touch. Installation of the keyboard can be accomplished by reversing the process.

What you need

Step 1 Battery

Remove the phone's back cover by placing your thumb the above charging port, located at the bottom of the phone, and sliding the back cover upward.

Gently pry the battery out of the phone with the spudger.

Unscrew the 5 #1 5mm screws.

Lift the inner shell from the phone.

Remove the main circuit board.
Remove the keyboard membrane.
