To start, the Front Cover Teardown guide must be used. Later, soldering guides will be used.
What you need

Unscrew the two 6.2 mm Phillips screws on the top half of the camera.
Ask FixBot

Unscrew the 6.2mm Phillips screw on the top right.

The front cover is now unscrewed and should be lifted evenly and removed.

Once the front cover is off, desolder the connections at both ends of the flash.

If unfamiliar with soldering, refer to the guide How To Solder and Desolder Connections

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
