Introduction
If You are struggling to push down your shutter button, it might need a cleaning. Over time the camera can have trouble performing simple tasks due to the build-up of dust and environmental damage.
This could be for any number of reasons! As mentioned above, the shutter might be stuck because of a buildup of dust, but there are several other reasons as well. The button could be rusted from age, there could be something larger in the way of the button, or the circuit could be fried. In this guide, we will be teaching you how to replace the button to fix these problems.
What you need

Tool used on this step:Tweezers$4.99

Make sure that the tools are acquired, The 70% Isopropyl Alcohol and Q-tips are needed, but if the tweezers are not available that is okay. Fingernails or a credit card are just fine. Anything that can move the button without damaging it works.

Pour a little bit of the alcohol into the cap

Take the Q-tip and sink the cotton end into the cap

Move the Q-tip onto the Shutter Button and move it around in circular motions

While the alcohol is still wet use the choice of tool and try to wiggle the button back and forth

After the button is wiggled a couple of times, try and see if the button is able to be pushed down.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
