First, open the cover to the batteries. This is located on the bottom left of the camera.
Push the door down and to the left to open. This opens into the batteries and the memory card.

To insert the batteries, place them in the slots provided.
Make sure the positive and negative signs match with the positive and negative sides of the batteries.
