To begin, for safety reasons, we must unplug the cleaner. After this is done, the headlight hood is flipped up, the lever turned, and the cleanerhead removed.

The two clips are rotated counterclockwise and the rug plate dropped.

The clip holding the right end of the beater bar is bent aside and the end of the bar lifted. The belt is then slid along the bar and off the free end of the bar.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
