Introduction
You will no longer have to throw away your favorite pair of jeans, even if they have a broken zipper with this quick fix! All you need is a thread ripper, a zipper, pair of jeans, pins (optional), and a sewing machine.
What you need

Using a seam ripper, rip the seams off your pair of jeans.

Remove the broken zipper from the pair of jeans.

Remove any decorative stitching on the overflap of the zipper.

Remove excess threads with a seam ripper.

Align your new zipper with the overtap and undertap of the jeans, then pin it in place to hold it still.

Starting with the left side, sew along each line of previous stitching, including the waistband using a sewing machine.

Zip the zipper to the top.

Sew along the previous decorative stitching on the overflap of the jeans using a sewing machine.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
