Introduction

If your record/stop switch is not working follow this guide to replace it.

What you need

Step 1 Record and Stop Switch

Remove the six screws (3 mm) that secure the lens cover bezel with a #00 Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the blue securing the lens cover. Then simply pull off the lens cover itself.

Remove black aluminum casing as shown.

Using a #00 Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the record/stop switch.

Remove the record/stop switch. You are then able to replace the switch.
Be careful to not misplace the power button and spring that will no longer be secured when the switch is removed.
