Introduction
A fuse is a device that protects the electrical circuitry of your fan and power source. Fuses have a small wire inside them that will melt and disrupt the electrical current if there is a surge of electricity. A blown or damage fuse will prevent any power distribution to your fan.

Grasp the plug firmly and slide the fuse access cover toward the end of the plug prongs with a Flat-head screwdriver.

Carefully pry the 5A fuse out of the plug by slipping the Flat-head screwdriver under one side of the fuse and popping the fuse upward.
