Float valves may wear out over time, preventing them from rising or falling correctly. This guide will demonstrate how to replace the float valve.

Pull the rubber gasket off of the metal rod.

The valve will fall out of its hole onto the table. It can now be cleaned or replaced.

I received the replacement valve and pot. Now my insignia instapot won't hold pressure. It keeps seeping steam/spritz out of the float valve. I am ready to toss it in the trash. It worked bafore I replaced that stem. I should've kept it.
OK after much digging, I found the old valve and now it is pressurizing.
