If your Hyper Mega Tech! Super Pocket mobile game device isn't charging or powering on, use this guide to replace the battery.

Batteries store chemical energy and convert it into electrical energy to power a vast range of devices, from small electronics to vehicles and electric grids.

Your device's battery may need to be replaced if the device will not power on after excessive charging. Here is a troubleshooting guide to follow before battery replacement.

Does Not Power On

Make sure not to short the positive and negative wires, or it may damage the battery.

Before beginning, make sure to power off your mobile game device and completely disconnect from any external power source.

Power the device off before starting the disassembly process.

Face the back of the device, then remove the Super Pocket gaming cartridge from the device.

Step 3

Use a Phillips #000 screwdriver to remove the four 2 mm screws from the four corners.

Step 4

Face the front of the device and use the iFixit opening tool to lift the front panel from the back cover.
Be careful not to pull the two sides quickly, as they are connected by a battery cable, and it can be damaged if pulled too hard.
