This repair might be needed if the buttons on your device are broken, missing, or non-functional. Tools needed will include a jimmy or opening tool, Phillips Head #00 screwdriver, and tweezers.

Using a Jimmy or opening tool, detach the screen from the main body of the device.

Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the two screws.

Using tweezers, detach the ribbon cables from the device.

Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, remove the two screws on the grey plastic part that holds the buttons in place.

Using a pair of tweezers, remove the grey plastic part gently.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
