What you need

Place phone on a heating bed.

I set it to 80 degrees celcius and left it on there for 5 minutes.

once the glue is softened, use the plastic pick tool to loosen one edge.

leave a pick under one side to stop that side from re-sticking as you move onto the next edge.

place the back cover side by side with the rest of he phone. being careful a the fingerprint scanner cable is on the back of the phone

take out all the screws in the bottom part of the phone and gently lift off, away from the phone.

unclip the ribbon cable.

next repeat the same process along the top part. (be careful with the cameras, the cover should just unclip without much effort.)

be careful of the 2 screws circled. these need to come out as well.

gently pry the battery terminal away from the board

next pull tab 1 and 2 individually.

-
when you pull tab 3, the battery should hinge away from you and then pull towards you .

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
