There are various reasons as to why your camera is not turning on. Here we will address a few common issues: damaged or faulty battery, power cable issues, and charged camera.

Plug your camera into an outlet using the corresponding USB cord. This should automatically prompt your camera to power up. Your computer will prompt you with a message, or your camera will light up.

If the first step yields no response, you may have a faulty battery. For this, reference the Olympus accessories page where you can purchase a new battery for your camera.

If your device is plugged in, you have a working battery and the device is still not working, you may have a damaged or faulty charger. To purchase a new charger click here.
