How to replace the screen protector on your phone

What you need

    • Slide the phone out of its protective case.

    • Clean the case with warm water and a small amount of mild soap, then allow it to dry completely.

    • Rub a soft pencil eraser gently across the earpiece grill to pull out packed dirt.

    • Shape the eraser tip to a point or cut it flat to reach between the mesh openings.

    • Avoid pressing hard to prevent damaging the speaker.

    • Wipe the screen and body with a microfiber cloth lightly moistened with cleaning alcohol.

    • Work around the edges until all visible smudges disappear.

    • Use alcohol rather than window cleaner because it evaporates quickly and will not harm components.

    • Dip a cotton swab in alcohol, press off excess, then lightly sweep around buttons, speakers, and the charging port.

    • Flatten the swab tip or use a blunted wooden toothpick to fit into narrow openings.

    • Stay shallow and avoid poking deep inside speakers or ports.

    • Turn off fans and avoid activities that stir up lint or dust in the room.

    • Keep calm and patient; a clean environment and steady hands give the best results.

    • Hook a fingernail under one corner of the old protector and peel it away from the display.

    • Use the moist wipe supplied in the protector kit to thoroughly clean the display, especially around the bezels.

    • Buff the glass with the dry wipe from the kit until all moisture is gone.

    • Follow with a high quality microfiber cloth to polish the surface without leaving lint.

    • Use only clean cloths that have not been washed with fabric softener to avoid oily residue.

    • Tilt the phone and inspect; the screen must be completely free of dust and fingerprints.

    • Tap the supplied dust-removal sticker across the display to pick up any last specks.

    • Stick the tape on your work surface so you can reuse it if dust sneaks under the glass later.

    • Peel the film from the side marked for the screen to reveal the adhesive surface.

    • If a speck lands on the adhesive, dab it away with the dust-removal sticker.

    • Position the glass over the display so the cut-outs align with the camera and sensors.

    • Lower the protector slowly onto the screen.

    • Press the center of the protector so the adhesive spreads to the edges.

    • Wrap a microfiber cloth around a finger and push any air pockets toward the sides until they disappear.

    • Give the glass a final wipe, then snap the phone back into its clean, dry case.

Conclusion

Your phone now sports a spotless, perfectly aligned screen protector, ready to guard the display against daily wear and accidental drops. Keep the dust-removal sticker handy for quick touch-ups, and enjoy a crystal-clear view.
