1. Step 1 Remove the battery for safety reasons
  push the switches that holdes the battery

3. Step 2 opening the back plate
  To unscrew the back plate you'll need a #1 philips screwdriver
  
  unscrew the 4 screws, don't worry if they don't come out, they don't have to
  
  Then push the plate and it will come out

4. Step 3 removing the dvd player
  You'll need a T7 philips screwdriver
  
  Unscrew this single screw
  
  Now push the dvd player to the side until it comes off
