Remove the rod off the hook from the wall carefully with your hands.

Remove the screws from the hooks using a Phillips screwdriver or power drill with a Phillips head.

Use the tape measure to determine screw placement on the wall for the new curtain rod.

Replace the Phillips head in the power drill with a drill bit.

Drill the holes into the wall for the screws to secure firmly.

Place the screw into the hole on the hook and drill it into the holes on the wall.
