Introduction

Repair your shattered ceramic mugs using this simple guide. Please note that your mug will not be safe to use as drinkware. However, you will be able to hold onto your mug for decorative purposes using non-toxic methods for your repair.

What you need

  Avoid any sharp edges while handling your cup to avoid injury.
  
  Take a piece of the mug and carefully apply the silicone adhesive along the broken edge.

  Align the edges and press firmly to join the pieces.

  Wipe off any excess adhesive with your towel.
  
  Stubborn adhesive can also be removed after curing (Refer to Step 6).

  Wrap the mug with a towel to secure the repair while drying.

Dap 00688 All-Purpose Adhesive Sealant is safe for food contact and has a high operating temperature. Shouldn't this be safe to use as drinkware?
