Introduction
This guide will show you how to remove a label from a glass jar for reuse. Instead of purchasing a new glass jar, you can repurpose glass jars from around the house as storage containers, vases, or home decor.
CAUTION: This guide involves boiling water.
What you need

Boil enough water to fill both glass jars.

Pour the boiling water into the smaller jar using a tea kettle.

Place the lid on the larger container and tighten.

Let the container sit for 10 to 15 minutes or until completely cooled.

Remove the smaller jar from the larger container.

Pour the water out of the jar.

Peel the label off of the jar.

Wipe off excess residue with a cloth or paper towel.
