Introduction
This guide demonstrates how to remove stubborn stains from plastic storage containers. The technique works for containers of any size; just adjust the amount of baking soda and water as needed to coat the stained areas.
What you need

Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the bottom of the container so it coats the inside.

Slowly add in warm water and stir until the solution becomes similar to the consistency of toothpaste.

Once you get the right consistency, spread the solution over the stained area of the container.

Place the container outside in direct sunlight for at least 30 minutes.

For better results, leave the container out for longer to let the solution soak into the stain.

This won't fully remove the stain, but it will help remove the base layer. The reason plastic containers like this stain so badly is that the natural dyes and acids in our food eat away the plastic.
