This guide will walk you through how to make your dress longer, from sewing on a fabric extension.

Fold and pin a piece of fabric in the beginning, middle, and end to prepare for cutting.

After cutting the fabric, take the pins out.

Begin to sew the fabric along the entire length.

Scrunch as you go to create a ruffle.

Attach a longer ruffled fabric to the shorter ruffled fabric by sewing the two together.

Use the same stitching as before.

Put the dress inside of the fabric.

Stitch the combined ruffles around the bottom hem of the dress.
