Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace the batteries in a Schlage door lock. The main problem with these locks is their batteries. Sometimes, while trying to open the door, you see a red flashing light instead of a green one, which indicates that the batteries need to be replaced.

What you need

1. Step 1 Battery
  Remove the two 3 mm Phillips #1 screws from the battery cover.
