Use nail clippers to cut the links off of your extension chain until it is your desired length.

Remove the links you just cut from the end of the extension chain so you have a chain of your desired length.

Use the pliers/tweezers to grip the ends of the last link you removed and pull it open to widen the gap.

With the link attached to the original necklace chain, attach the extension chain to the same link.

Using the original latch, clip the latch to the extension chain. Your final product should look like a seamless chain!

This necklace is now ready to wear, and the chain can be extended with this method many times!
