Introduction
If you have a stain that you just can’t get out but you love your shirt, this is the guide for you. This guide will lead you step-by-step in dying an old shirt so it doesn't contribute to land-fill waste! Keep in mind that as you may be working with dyes, there may be a mess involved, so working with this in mind may reduce cleanup.
What you need

Buy the product and make sure to read the instructions on the bottle.

Weigh your shirt & follow instructions on the bottle according to weight to determine how much dye is needed.

Pre-wash your clothing item and prepare your materials and work area.

Add enough water in a stainless steel pot to let the clothing item move freely.

Cover the pot and let the water reach close to boiling temperature ~200 degrees Fahrenheit.

Add the desired amount of dye that was measured via the bottle to the water and turn the stove top temperature to simmer.

After the desired color is achieved, remove the item from the solution.

Rinse the clothing item with warm water.

Gradually use cooler water until the water runs clear.

Wash the clothing item in warm water.

Dry and enjoy your new clothing item!
