Introduction
A blanket that is starting to rip might cause frustration and could become unusable. Instead of throwing out your blankets, let me show you how to stitch it up and decorate it!
What you need

Pick a thread of your choice: fabric or sewing thread.

Cut a relatively long piece.

Pull one end of thread through the eye of the needle.

Make the two tail ends meet.

Tie a knot.

Lay your blanket (or piece of fabric) in front of you and pick your stitching direction.

Measure about half an inch from the edge of your blanket and mark it.

Send your needle through the blanket from the back from the marked point.

Bring the thread around the fabric and push the needle through the very first stich creating a loop.

Move about half an inch from the first stitch.

Send the needle through the blanket from the back creating a loop.

To reverse these steps, use a pair of scissors to cut the thread.
