      • Place a clip from the balancing kit in the middle of a random blade and turn the fan on. Take note of the difference in wobble.

      • Move the clip to the next blade over and turn the fan on again. Continue this process until you've tried the clip on each blade and found the one that improves the wobble the most.

      • For now, we are just putting the clip in the middle of the blades.

      • Your fan should be balanced!

      • If the wobble is still bad, the fan motor itself may have an issue or the electrical box in the attic may need to be tightened by a competent person.

Conclusion

If the fan isn't balanced to your liking, you may want to try another balancing weight. If that doesn't work, there may be an issue with the fan motor itself, or the electrical box in the attic may need to be tightened by an expert.
