What you need

Step 1 Speaker

Turn the HomePod mini upside down
Peel back the foot covers

Carefully cut the fabric mesh using the fabric scissors
Be very careful not to scratch the delicate glass surface on top!

Unscrew the 4 torx screws on the bottom near the speaker holes

Step 4

Carefully separate the top and middle sections from the HomePod mini
Be very careful when separating, as there are cables connected to the motherboard as well as the speakers
Carefully unplug all the cables connected to the motherboard

Step 5

Carefully separate the middle section of the HomePod mini

Ask FixBot

Step 6

Carefully remove the speaker driver from the bottom part of the HomePod mini
Be very careful not to damage the delicate ribbon cable below the driver!

Step 7

Remove the speaker driver
Carefully remove the cables connecting to the driver, being careful not to damage it

Ask FixBot

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
