I've got half way through and decided to put it back together still with the screen broken. This guide misses out important details on how to disconnect the surface mounted ribbon connectors and I don't want to risk irreparable damage to the device.

If someone want fix broken touchscreen, buy it together with LCD, because it is impossible to take off glass of the LCD. I just wasted my money, because I bought touch screen (digitizer) only and crashed my LCD into pieces.
