Introduction

If your battery is not working, needs to cool down, or needs to be taken out for another reason, follow the steps below to remove it properly.

1. Step 1 Battery
  Turn the computer upside down on a flat side, so that you are seeing the underside of the laptop.
  
  Before removing the battery, make sure that the computer is turned off and that the power cord is not plugged into the computer.

3. Step 2
  Slide the two battery release latches towards the center of the laptop to release the battery.

  Tilt the battery upward.
  
  Remove it from the laptop.
