Introduction
HP ProBook 450 G6 faces power failure; it randomly shuts down without the user explicitly commanding it. It doesn’t consistently charge anymore and charges very occasionally. The operating system of the laptop gives a battery diagnostic warning about battery health.

Loosen the five captive Phillips 8.2 mm screws securing the lower case.

Remove the two 5 mm Phillips screws securing the lower case.

To reassemble your device, follow the above steps in reverse order.
For optimal performance, after completing this guide, calibrate your newly installed battery.
Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
