You will be taking out a 10.8 volt power source located at the base of the computer. Please make sure the computer is turned off before taking the power source out.

Shut down the computer.

Turn computer upside down so the base is facing upward.

Slide latch next to battery icon until battery pops up.

Pull the battery away from the computer until completely detached.
