Shut your laptop down (if possible), close the lid, then flip the laptop over.

Remove the battery by unlatching it.

Unscrew the screw near a donut-shaped icon. The icon should not be 3 discs, as that's the HDD screws.

Remove the CD/DVD drive cover with a spudger (Don't worry, you can use your nails if you don't have one).
