What you need

  1. HP Pavilion DV2913CL Disc Drive Replacement, Disc Drive: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the two Phillips screws located on the back of the laptop.

    • Remove the plastic panel to reveal a second Phillips head screw.

    • Remove the screw shown below: this holds the disc drive in place.

    • Slide the disc drive out of the laptop.
