Introduction
The battery is one of the main components of a laptop: used to keep the laptop on and running. If the battery is failing to hold charge, or the computer will not turn on at all, then a battery replacement may be necessary. This guide will aid in replacing the defective battery with a replacement.

Press and hold the release switch, and then slide the battery out. Insert the new battery into the slot and you're done!
