Go to step 1 ↓Hello, this guide will help you replace the Hard Drive in a HP EliteBook 8560w.
Keep in mind that your device should be turned off and disconnected from the power adapter.
Usually, a Hard Drive needs to be replaced when the computer won’t boot. However, check out our troubleshooting page to see if your issue falls into a different category.

Slide the lock all the way to the right and remove the M2.5x8mm screw with a Philips #0 screwdriver.

Slide the panel towards you and lift it up to open and access the back of the computer.

Remove the four M2.5x8mm screws with Phillips #0 screwdriver and lift up the panel to access your Hard Drive.

Remove the M2.5x8mm screw with Phillips #0 screwdriver.

Slide the hard drive to the left and lift it to remove it.

Ask FixBot
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
