What you need

Step 1 Locate RAM

Locate the location of the RAM.

Step 2 Disengage the memory array

Spread the spring blades that hold the memory strip in place (left and right).

Step 3 Remove the memory module

With your finger, gently remove the memory module (RAM).

Step 4 Change memory module (RAM)

Place the new memory module (RAM) in its slot.
Option: add a second memory module (RAM).

Step 5 Attach the memory module (RAM)

Gently press the top of the memory module until the spring blades engage (clicks!).

Step 6 Insert a second memory module

Repeat same procedure as for the first RAM module.
